Out with Tom Sturridge even! Looking at the Wii games, I see. I get it, you’re a casual gamer…no problem. Maybe I can teach you a thing or two about hardcore gaming. Let me take your Wiimote into my hands and show you how to work it.

But honestly, it looks like Rob is new to the gaming world..we all saw what happened with Negative Natalie and Rob’s attempt at Rock Band. That’s OK with me! I am willing to teach him a thing or two..heh heh.

Can you imagine the conversation between Rob and Tom about which game to purchase? Hilarious!!

Rob: “My mum and dad bought me this thing called the Wii and I’m supposed to buy a game for it?”

Tom: “Wii, what’s that?”

Rob: “I don’t know.”

Hahahaha…yes, I realize I’m probably the only one laughing at this and it has nothing to do with what game they want to purchase, but still! I find it cute (I mean, look at his puzzled face).

So Rob, give me your friend code, gamertag, and online ID….I’m sure to give you a challenge...if you’re up to it.

Rob on The View

So Rob is slated to be on the view March 2nd:

Mark your cal­en­dars, “Twi­light” fans.Robert Pat­tin­son makes his first appear­ance on ABC’s “The View” on March 2.

He will be there to pro­mote the film “Remem­ber Me” with co-star Emi­lie De Raven. That film comes out in March and casts Pat­tin­son as a trou­bled col­lege stu­dent who becomes infat­u­ated with De Raven’s character.

Oh really? The View? Personally, I’m a little worried for Rob that show is, no offense, an estrogen fest. Watch out Rob, the women hosts will try some way to grab or touch you! – But, don’t they always?

Despite my disinterest in the show, here’s to Rob (and Emilie) promoting Remember Me! Only a month away!!

Scruff-a-licious!

Rob was sporting a beard on Friday for the Hope for Haiti Now telethon and was he looking good! (In a grizzly sort of way). All for a good cause! His segment was pre-recorded, so you must’ve seen those pap pics around the web. If you weren’t able to catch the telethon, here’s Rob’s portion:

If you haven’t heard the news, Robert Pattinson is set to do the Haiti Telethon this week in order to raise funds and awareness. Now this is a huge deal. Yes, yes, donating money, but I’m talking about Rob. Rob will save you, Haiti!! Think of all those women calling in to get a piece of that…damn! Sure it’s random who you may receive on the other end..but still! If you’re wondering when it is, it’s this Friday and should be on every major network starting at 8pm EST.

I won’t be able to watch it – boo on work and traffic – but that doesn’t mean I haven’t donated yet! Plus, I’ll be fantasizing about Rob’s sexy voice over the phone.

Ok, so that video doesn’t really do it when it comes to what I’m trying to portray, but you get the idea (pretty cheese-tacular)!

All joking aside, if you haven’t already, donate today to help those affected in Haiti. $1, $5, $100, anything! A little bit goes a long way. The Red Cross is probably the most reliable method that I know of. And here’s to phone Rob!

He Sparkles?!

It’s about damn time, NECA! About time you released new New Moon figures. I was growing tired of New Moonward…too bulky for my tastes. Give me slim and scrawny Edward! And what’s this, he sparkles? Hell yeah!

Series 2 of NECA’s Twilight Saga: New Moon action figure line is set to include:

A NEW sculpt for Edward
A sparkling variant of that figure
Shirtless Jacob [They got around to making it, huh? No longer a teaser at Comic Con]

I don’t really care for Jasper, let alone the Jacob figure. But damn, I wonder what the concept artist was thinking as he/she sketched out and made a model of Jacob’s/Taylor’s abs? Imagine all the Team Jacob girls right now swooning and sighing over this.

The Best of ‘09

Look I’m back! Maybe you felt betrayed stranded that I left you for 3 weeks, but I have returned. (Sort of like Rob coming out of hiding in London)

Anyway, this post is mostly what I enjoyed about this year in my days of keeping this blog. Only five reasons, but that should be good. So here are my favorite moments:

5. Introducing my then-boss to the Twilight series

It was fun and  nice sharing the experience with her. It’s like watching your child discover something new and feeling this sense of accomplishment. As cheesy as that may sound. It was also hilarious watching her struggle to find out more about the story, characters, etc. She’s now fully converted.

4. My Twilight V-Card

Edward told me to hand it over.

3. #NewStoliShirt

OK, who wasn’t involved in this?! I mean, it pretty much spread throughout most of the blogs and the twittersphere. It was exciting to see if Rob would actually wear it. And Peter Facinelli tweeted about it…c’mon!!

Sadly, we’re still waiting for Rob to don the shirt. One day, someday!

2. Counting the days ’til New Moon/Remember Me…(And Eclipse)

It was nice seeing all those pictures surfacing from set..sometimes too nice. A little bit too much? I’d say, not enough!! Remember when New Moon was only a year away and then a day away? All those promotional pictures, endless teasers/spoilers, it was as if they released the movie already! Even though Chris Weitz gave us a lot of goods, it didn’t disappoint in the end. The movie was well made.

As for Remember Me, who wouldn’t remember it? Ah..all those set pics. Reading the script…Rob fighting…*swoon*

Dear readers,

I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted. Let’s just say it was madness at work due to the holiday season and (maybe) also because I’ve been experiencing a little bit of writer’s block. But don’t worry, I’m still around and on Twitter.

All I know is, damn, I wish I was still working across the street from LACMA. Maybe I could’ve spotted Rob behind a giant blue tarp, protected by bodyguards. Oh Rob, we always have seem to have close encounters. This theme is reminding me of some Asian dramas where the characters are always so close to each other but don’t even realize it!
